Dear Padfoot,
Thank you, thank you, for Harry’s birthday present! It was his favourite by far.

On December 1st in the picturesque city of Edinbrugh, the third Snow Ball will be held.
The Snow Ball is the UK’s largest wizard rock event and this year and we can make it the most unforgettable experience, as there is the chance that Harry and the Potters will be the headline act.
I attended the first Edinburgh Snow Ball when I was fifteen. Back then I had no idea what fandom was- I didn’t even have a facebook page. I was awkward and unsure of myself. But I liked wizard rock, I liked ‘K’ rated marauders fanfiction and I LOVED Harry Potter. And in the room I was standing were a hundred other people just as geeky as me, all wanting to have a good time. Then some amazing artists played music and I fangirled and I danced and I sang with Alex Carpenter* and I made friends who I consider to be some of my best today. It was honestly like the Yule Ball- but a wee bit more fun.
Since then I have become immersed in the UK wrock community, which is easily the most friendly, the most ridiculous, the most talented and the most active fandom around. Every time we put on a show, the local paper runs a story on it. Wizard rock is silly and it’s fun and it’s brilliant. Going to a live show is different than you were ever expecting. I’m not going to exaggerate, but going to the first Snow Ball in 2009 changed my life a little bit.
Tickets are on sale now and are only £13.50. A great night out for just over a tenner? Fantastic.
BUT
we NEED to sell 150 tickets BEFORE SATURDAY to ensure HARRY AND THE POTTERS play!
So Don’t Delay!
